We decided to try snacks again (instead of just juice and water) after parents complained a few years ago - we thought healthy options would be a better option. We were given the run-around for months with our previous vendor so choosing a new supplier seemed simple and easy as far as getting the healthy snacks we wanted.

The new healthy products have been received exceptionally well. We love the fact that whenever there's a problem with the machine, it's sorted out ASAP as the new machines feature remote monitoring technology. The response from students and faculty has been great!

Darlene Morrison, business manager at Calvary Christian Academy in nearby Ormond Beach, says that parents have been especially enthusiastic supporters of healthier snack vending -- though students were in some cases initially dubious. "They tended at first to just ogle the unfamiliar snack labels in the new machine," says Morrison. "It wasn't until we organized a free taste test for a student delegation that the organic food concept really got their full attention. Now it's become the latest mega hit!"

Orange County's Heritage Oak Private School and Whittier Christian High School have each recently made the switch to Healthy Vending. "I'm impressed both with the student response to natural and organic snack foods and with the resultant revenues for our school," says Carl Martinez, assistant principal at Whittier Christian High School. "We've seen equal or better monthly income from the new machines, and these funds find excellent uses in an educationally active setting like ours."

The Norwin School District in North Huntington, Pa. announced its satisfaction with the new Healthy Vending program. Its middle school, with 850 students, and high school, with more than 2,000, have each had a Healthy Vending machine in place since January. "I'm extremely enthusiastic about this product," said Rod Stewart, director of food services, in a prepared statement.

We have had our machine up and running at Aviara Oaks Middle School for a couple of months now and have been very impressed with the quality of service, our students' response to the products, and the profit share that we receive. It is great to be able to supplement the food that our cafeteria offers with the alternative healthy snack choices. The machine is always clean and well tended. We are very happy with the program and highly recommend it to any schools looking to shift the eating habits in a healthier direction!
